Frequently Asked Questions

How much will Therapy cost?

Therapy costs will depend on client choice of utilizing insurance or foregoing insurance for a private pay option. Each insurance provider covers a certain amount of the therapy costs depending on plan, copays, coinsurance and deductible. It is encouraged to contact your insurance provider to verify costs. Private pay clients are taken on a case-by-case basis with the possibility of accessible sliding fee scale sessions.

How often will we meet and for how long?

Typically, sessions are once a week for 50 minutes. We will decide together what pace and structure feels right for you.

Do you offer in-person or virtual sessions?

Only virtual telehealth sessions are available at this time.

What kinds of issues do you specialize in?

Specialties include trauma, complex PTSD, BIPOC mental health, depression, anxiety, aging adult transitions, life transitions, chronic illness, grief, self-esteem and spirituality.

What theoretical orientations or modalities do you use in supervision?

I draw from trauma-informed, integrative, and somatic frameworks, with influences from EMDR, Brainspotting, existential and Narrative Therapy. I encourage supervisees to develop their own clinical voice while grounding their work in ethical and evidence-based practice. Supervision is not only about case consultation; it’s about the growth and wellbeing of the therapist as a whole person. I believe that who we are directly shapes how we show up in the therapy room.

I operate from a multicultural and intersectional lens, recognizing that our identities, lived experiences, and systemic contexts influence our clinical work. In supervision, we explore not just what’s happening in sessions, but also what’s happening within you as a therapist — your emotions, boundaries, and personal narratives that may surface in the work. Bring your whole self into the supervision room!

Who do you typically supervise?

I work with graduate students and post-master’s clinicians pursuing licensure (e.g., LPCC, LMFT, LICSW). I especially enjoy supporting those interested in trauma therapy, identity development, and integrative or holistic approaches. Please check the requirements of your school and state board to ensure that supervision with an LPCC counts towards your hours.

how often do we meet and for how long?

Individual supervision sessions are typically 1 hour, once per week. Group supervision is available monthly. I tailor frequency based on licensing requirements and each supervisee’s needs.

Is supervision virtual or in-person?

Supervision is virtual at this time, however arrangements can be made to have in-person supervision on a semi-frequent basis.
